Sorber Features
Proprietary 1.6” thick rigid fiberglass core - provides superior sound absorption compared to acoustic foam and other fiberglass baffles. Allows panels to attach to walls as acoustic treatment, free stand (S2466x2), or lay on top of an acrylic shield (LidPacs).
Velcro-receptive acoustic fabric jacket – provides another layer of sound absorption and allows Sorber baffles to attach to acrylic material or other Sorber baffles with Velcro.
Sewn seams – fabric jacket fully covers inner fiberglass. No glue is used and there is no exposed fiberglass.
The SKT Sorber Kick Drum Tunnel is the perfect solution for cleaning up and enhancing your kick drum tracks. It consists of (1) S2224 & (3) S2233 Sorber sound absorption baffles that create a tunnel in front of your kick drum. This setup minimizes bleed from other drums or instruments as well as adds more bass response and ambience to your kick drum tracks. Panels attach together with included Velcro.
In addition to enhancing and cleaning up your bass drum tracks, the SKT gives you options for how you want your kick drum to sound: set up the mic at the far end of the tunnel for a roomier sound, set up a far and close mic and blend the sounds, or remove the resonant bass drum head for even more ambience. The bottom line is you can capture your sound your way with the SKT Sorber Kick Tunnel.
